How Does Metronidazole Work?

Dosage
The usual dosage of the Metronidazole tablet for dental infection is:
- 200mg to 400 mg (depending on the severity of the infection), three times a day
- This medicine is usually prescribed for 3-7 days
It is necessary to complete the full course even if you start to feel better, otherwise the infection may come again, and your body can create antibiotic resistance.
Always take the medicine with water, preferably after a meal, and take it at regular intervals.
