Description

When taken regularly and at the correct dose it will reduce the frequency of flare-ups and also reduce the amount of times you will need to use your “reliever” such as Ventolin.

What is Clenil?

The active ingredient of the Clenil inhaler is Beclometasone. It is a steroid treatment, and it is designed to be used daily to prevent symptoms and attacks of asthma-related issues. It helps reduce inflammation, widen the airways, and improve breathing.

When to use Clenil?

If you are suffering from Asthma, the Clenil Inhaler may be a good option for your treatment. This corticosteroid treatment comes in various dosages. You should use it according to the directions given by the prescriber as the dosage mainly depends on factors such as:

  • Age
  • Condition
  • The severity

How does Clenil work?

The active ingredient of Clenil Inhaler is Beclometasone dipropionate, which belongs to a corticosteroid group (also referred to as a simple steroid). When the active ingredient of the Clenil inhaler reaches the lungs through inhalation, it helps reduce inflammation and swelling in the airways.

When used daily, it helps decrease inflammation and helps in the following conditions:

  • Keep the airways open and clear, which allows air to move more freely in and out of the lungs.
  • Lower the sensitivity of the airways to common asthma triggers. These triggers can be allergens, exercise, environmental pollutants, cold air, stress, and infections.
  • Prevent the frequency of asthma attacks when used daily or as prescribed.

It is very important to note that the Clenil inhaler does not work or remove asthma symptoms instantly. But it will show improvement within a few days of use. Moreover, for complete benefits to develop time of 1–2 weeks of regular use is required. However, it is recommended to carry an instant inhaler reliever like Ventolin to get instant relief.

How to use Clenil Inhaler

  • Shake the inhaler properly before using it to ensure that the medicine is evenly distributed.
  • After that, exhale fully, place the mouthpiece in your mouth, and begin to inhale slowly.
  • Then, press down the canister to release a dose as you continue inhaling.
  • Next, hold your breath for 10 seconds before exhaling.
  • Wash your mouth after every use to prevent oral thrush (a common or possible side effect of corticosteroids).
