Fungal Infections

Ringworm, jock itch and other fungal skin infections announce themselves with itchy, red, often ring-shaped patches – irritating, but very treatable. Antifungal creams containing clotrimazole or terbinafine clear most infections when used consistently, including for the period after symptoms disappear that the pack specifies. Keep the area clean and dry, wash towels and clothing regularly, and avoid sharing them while the infection clears.
