UK health advice recommends that children from six months to five years take a daily supplement of vitamins A, C and D, unless they’re drinking more than 500ml of formula a day. Vitamin D matters particularly in this country, where sunlight can’t be relied on for much of the year. These drops make it easy to build the habit in – one small daily dose, straight onto the tongue or into food.
