Vaniqa Cream

Description

Vaniqa is a medicated topical prescription cream used to reduce or slow down unwanted and excessive hair growth in adult women.

What is Vaniqa cream?

Vaniqa cream is not a permanent hair removal product, but it helps reduce excessive hair growth. It can be used to treat unwanted hair growth on the face, including the upper lips, chin as well as neck areas. The active ingredient eflornithine hydrochloride, is effective in inhibiting hair growth-stimulating enzymes. Excessive hair growth is faced by many women who suffer from hormonal imbalance, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), or as a result of side effects of certain medicines.

How does Vaniqa cream work?

Eflornithine hydrochloride reduces excessive hair growth by directly targeting the hair growth enzymes present in hair follicles. It acts on enzymes that play a role in growing hair shafts, blocks these enzymes, and slows down the process of new hair growth. It also slows the growth of already grown hair, making it thinner and less visible gradually. When it is used continuously, it shows visible results and, in some cases, stops hair growth completely.
