The original Covonia, first formulated by a Huddersfield chemist and still made for the dry cough that won’t leave you alone. Dextromethorphan calms the cough reflex itself, while a strong dose of menthol relieves irritation and congestion — a thick, dark, seriously warming balsam that dry-cough loyalists swear by.

Each 5ml contains dextromethorphan hydrobromide 7.5mg (a cough suppressant) and menthol 2.5mg. Contains sucrose — full list in the enclosed leaflet.
Adults, the elderly and children over 12: take two 5ml spoonfuls every four hours if required. Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
If your cough lasts more than three weeks or brings up blood, see a doctor.
